Elections Yukon
Elections in Yukon are conducted by an independent Office of the Legislative Assembly,
under the direction of the Chief Electoral Officer. This ensures that elections are
conducted in a fair and unbiased manner.
Elections Yukon conducts territorial elections of Members of the Legislative Assembly,
in accordance with the Elections Act. The office also conducts school council and school
board elections, in accordance with the Edution Act.
ELECTION RESULTS - YUKON FRANCOPHONE SCHOOL BOARD
Voting took place on Monday, November 4, 2019 between the hours of 3:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. at
école émilie Tremblay at 20 Falcon Drive, Whitehorse.
The official count was held on Tuesday, Nov 5th at 12 noon at the offices of the
Yukon Francophone School Board at 478 Range Road, Whitehorse.

SCHOOL ELECTIONS
School Council
A General Election will be held in early May 2020. The date to be confirmed once approved by the Commissioner in Executive Council.
This election will be held in 26 school attendance areas for between 3-7 council members.
To vote or to be a ndidate you must be a nadian citizen, at least 18 years of age, and either a parent of a child attending the
school or a resident in the school attendance area for a minimum of three months.
TERRITORIAL ELECTIONS
There is no fixed election date for Yukon Territorial Elections. A General Election will be held any time prior to November 14, 2021.
The date to be confirmed upon approval of the Commissioner in Executive Council.
This election will elect 19 Members of the Legislative Assembly in 19 electoral districts.
To vote or be a ndidate you must be a nadian citizen, at least 18 years of age, and been resident in Yukon for the previous 12 months.
